"Father, please allow me to do what I am doing next..." Mortarion's voice was low and firm, as if it came from the depths of his soul.

His eyes penetrated the golden light and stared into the endless void, as if he was looking for something, or as if he was saying goodbye to something.

"The mistakes I made are irreparable. All I can do now is to atone for the crimes of rebellion and massacre that I once committed."

There was a tremor in Mortarion's voice, but his eyes were extremely firm.

He knew that his betrayal and killing were irreversible, but he also understood that only through endless fighting and self-exile could he find a trace of peace of mind.

"Fuck you! Mortarion! I worked so hard to cleanse your soul! Why are you sending it away?"

The voice was full of anger and helplessness, like questioning a disobedient child.

However, Mortarion simply lowered his head slightly and said softly: "I'm sorry, father..."

His body began to radiate a dazzling golden light, which was as hot as the sun, as if it was going to burn everything around him to ashes.

Even the sickle in his hand, the weapon that was once stained with countless blood, was now wrapped in golden flames, as if announcing its rebirth.

"I will banish myself to the Warp for thousands of years to reflect, during which time I will spare no effort to kill all the demons I see until my sins are atoned for." Mortarion's voice echoed in the void, as if announcing his determination to the entire universe.

His soul had been cleansed, and the filth and darkness that once existed had been burned away by the golden flames.

Now he seemed like a completely new being, full of strength and determination.

He knew that the Warp was a place full of danger and chaos, but he also understood that only there could he find true salvation.

Mortarion's figure gradually disappeared in the golden light, and his scythe drew a golden track in the void, as if announcing his departure.

His heart was filled with determination and resolve, and he knew that for the next thousands of years, he would fight countless demons in the Warp until his sins were completely atoned for.

"I will be back, Father..."

Mortarion's voice echoed in the void, as if bidding farewell to the endless golden light.

His figure completely disappeared into the depths of the subspace, leaving only the golden flame burning in the void, as if announcing his new life and determination.

The moment Mortarion stepped into the warp, the surrounding void seemed to be torn apart, and the energy of chaos surged in like a tide.

The smell of decay filled his face, the stench of decay and disease hung in the air as if every breath was eating away at his soul.

However, Mortarion's body remained upright, and golden light flowed around him, like an indestructible barrier, isolating the filth of Chaos from outside.

Suddenly, a low roar came from the void, accompanied by the sound of sticky liquid dripping.

A huge figure emerged from the chaotic mist. It was a Nurgle demon. Its body was bloated and rotten. Green pus oozing from its skin and countless maggots wriggling in its flesh.

In its hand, it held a huge, rusty sword, the blade of which was covered with traces of plague and death.

"Mortarion... traitor... how dare you step into our territory..." The voice of the Great Demon of Nurgle was like bubbles rising from a rotten swamp, low and sticky, full of malice and ridicule.

Mortarion did not respond, his eyes were cold and firm, the scythe in his hand was slightly raised, golden flames danced on the blade, as if responding to Mortarion's will.

The Great Demon of Nurgle roared and rushed towards him with his huge sword in hand. The blade brought up a bloody storm, as if it wanted to devour Mortarion completely.

However, just as the giant sword was about to fall, Mortarion's figure flashed like a ghost.

His sickle drew a golden arc, so fast that it was almost impossible to capture with the naked eye.

The movement of the Great Demon of Nurgle came to an abrupt halt, and its body was split in two by the golden flames. The rotten flesh quickly burned in the flames and turned into ashes.

“This is just the beginning…”

Mortarion whispered, his voice echoing through the void as if announcing his arrival to the entire Warp.

His eyes scanned the surroundings, chaotic energy swirling around him, and the whispers and roars of countless demons came from all directions.

He knew that this was only the first stop on his road to atonement. The Warp was filled with endless demons and chaos, and he would fight here for thousands of years until his sins were completely washed away.

"Come on, demons..."

Mortarion whispered, his voice cold and resolute, "I will kill you one by one until my sins are completely gone."

His figure disappeared again in the chaotic mist, leaving only the golden flame burning in the void, as if announcing the arrival of a redeemer.

Deep in the Warp, the whispers of countless demons gradually turned into roars of fear. They knew that a terrible hunter had stepped into their territory.

The battle on Eden was over. The rift in the warp slowly closed under the violent golden psychic energy. Kahn and the others turned their heads to say goodbye to Angron and disappeared in the golden light.

Now, the galaxy will have one less legend of a warrior from the World Eaters Legion, but one more legend of a great warrior leading the Legion to defeat all enemies of the Imperium.

Angron sighed. Sanguinius was of course aware of all this, so he could only comfort Angron silently.

Lorgar also sighed, and he walked to Angron's side and whispered comforting words.

........................

"Fuck your mother! What did you do! Yang Cheng!"

As the Emperor's phantom walked back and forth within the palace, he could sense the power surrounding Angron.

"Why are you panicking? It's just a small experiment." Yang Cheng replied disapprovingly.

"You'll get into trouble..."

"No matter how big the mess I make is, can it be as big as the one you make?" After saying this, Yang Cheng left without looking back.

Malcador's hunched figure stepped out from the darkness. He looked at the phantom of the emperor in front of him and said calmly, "When are you going to tell him?"

"It's not the time yet. Once he understands his responsibilities, it will be the time for the end and inheritance..." The emperor's phantom looked at Yang Cheng who was getting farther and farther away, and then muttered to himself helplessly.

"What do you think of him?"

"Very strong, not weaker than me at all. If possible, he can really save this stupid world..."
