If I'm not mistaken, the martial arts instructor of this film must be Chinese. Foreigners definitely can't design such a thing.

Luo Zhaoliang had been exposed to Hollywood fighting scenes before. It was basically a "frame-by-frame" fight where you punch, I punch, you kick, I kick back. The movements were very stiff. This situation was not changed until a martial arts instructor from Hong Kong arrived.
