Play Speak
The silver-gray metal surface of the Death Star trembled in the artillery fire, and gunpowder smoke covered the landing area like a thick curtain.
Tens of thousands of B1 combat robots formed a perfect square and advanced forward. Their metal feet stepped on the steel plates, making uniform clanging sounds, like a symphony of death driven by precision gears.
“Find the target, find the target.”
Mechanical electronic sounds rose and fell, sounding particularly cold in the gaps between explosions.
The red optical lenses of each robot flashed scarlet light in the smoke, forming a creepy ocean of light.
Their E-5 blaster rifles were raised simultaneously, and the targeting systems made a subtle calibration sound.
“Fire.”
Following the tactical robot's command, a volley of blaster beams tore through the air, forming a dense web of death.
The orc squad that tried to break out didn't even have time to scream before they were pierced through the bodies by the high-temperature beams.
A greenskin warrior's chest was hit by three energy beams at the same time, and his upper body was vaporized directly. Only his two legs were left. He ran forward a few steps due to inertia before falling down.
"I've had enough of these tin cans!"
A deafening roar came from the smoke.
An orc war boss nearly three meters tall broke through the smokescreen. It was covered in rough metal armor, and its right arm had been modified into a huge power hammer. The hammer head was still stained with flesh and blood left over from the previous battle.
"For Gogo and Maoge!"
The power hammer smashed down with a whistling sound, and the three B1 robots were instantly smashed into metal pancakes, with wires and hydraulic fluid splashing out from their deformed shells.
The war boss raised his hammer with a wild laugh, and was about to continue destroying——
"Threat level increased, annihilation protocol initiated."
The B2 super battle robots in the rear array raised their rocket launchers at the same time.
With a shrill scream, six rockets, trailing smoke, flew towards the orc boss.
"boom!"
The flames of the explosion shot up into the sky, and the war boss was blown into the air by the shock wave.
Its armor twisted and deformed in the heat, and its green skin was burned black.
But a deadlier attack was about to arrive, as four Destroyer robots slid out from the flanks, their rotating laser cannons already warmed up.
“Annihilate.”
The blue and white laser beams intertwined into a web of death, and the orc boss who was still in the air was dismembered in an instant.
Its head was cut in half by a precise laser, and its torso was torn to pieces by the crossfire, and its burning innards rained down on the battlefield.
In the command room of the Invisible Hand, Grievous watched the massacre indifferently through the holographic projection.
His four mechanical fingers kept opening and closing, making a harsh sound of metal friction. The focus of the optical mirror was constantly adjusted, taking in every detail of the battlefield.
“Boring… so boring.”
His mechanical vocal cords emitted a hoarse whisper, and a puff of steam emanated from the breathing device in his chest.
He was bored by these inefficient battles. The robots' advance was orderly but lacked artistry; the orcs' resistance was fierce but lacked any skill.
Suddenly, his optics locked onto the D-127 battle zone, where the Orks' most elite troops were gathering and were breaking through the robot's defenses.
"Prepare my landing craft."
Grievous turned sharply, his cloak rustling behind him.
His mechanical body emitted a humming sound as the hydraulic system was pressurized, and four lightsabers popped out from the secret compartments and were held firmly in his hands.
"It's time to teach these beasts the true art of killing."
Grievous's personal landing capsule crashed into the center of the D-127 battle zone like a meteorite.
Before the hatch was fully opened, four lightsabers of different colors had already cut through the smoke and dust, like the eyes of the god of death on the dim battlefield.
“Filthy creature.”
His mechanical vocal cords issued a cold verdict, and then turned into a metallic storm and rushed into the enemy group.
As soon as the first orc elite raised his melta gun, he found that his vision was suddenly spinning.
Its head had been separated from its shoulders, precisely cut off by a blue lightsaber.
Before the headless body fell, the second green lightsaber had already pierced through the heart of another orc, and the high temperature instantly carbonized its internal organs.
Grievous' body displayed inhuman flexibility. His lower body remained upright in a charging posture, while his upper body twisted 180 degrees like a snake, and the third lightsaber swept across, cutting off the two orcs that rushed from the side.
The fourth lightsaber stabbed out like a venomous snake, accurately hitting the center of the last person's eyebrows, instantly vaporizing his brain tissue.
The four bodies fell to the ground almost at the same time.
“WAAAGH!”
A roaring ork boss came charging at him, armed with a power fist, its armor covered with the remains of robots, and its knuckles equipped with spinning serrations strong enough to tear through the strongest alloys.
Grievous' optics flickered as he assessed his opponent.
The moment the orc boss swung his punch, his mechanical body suddenly split apart.
The torso above the waist is separated from the lower body and controlled by magnetic chains, making it as flexible as a severed snake head.
When the power fist rubbed Grievous' lower body and hit nothing, his upper body had already spun behind the orc boss. Four lightsabers lit up at the same time.
Grievous's first strike severed the tendon behind the knee.
Then the second sword cut off the elbow joint of the weapon-wielding arm, leaving the orc unable to resist.
Then the third sword pierced through the back of the heart, accurately destroying the spinal nerves.
Finally, the fourth sword spun around to decapitate, and the lightsaber left a blazing trail in the air.
The orc boss's body was torn into pieces like a disassembled doll, but Grievous's upper body had gracefully returned to its original position, and the magnetic joints re-engaged with a crisp "click" sound.
The ensuing battle turned into a one-sided massacre.
Grievous rushed into the most densely populated area of orcs, and his four lightsabers danced into a whirlwind of death. His movements were so fast that they almost left afterimages.
One of the orcs just raised his gun and found that his arm had fallen to the ground along with the weapon.
"waaaaaagh!!!"
The other orc looked down at the charred hole that suddenly appeared on his chest, and fell to the ground before he had time to think.
The third orc was horrified to find that his companion's head suddenly flew up, and then his vision fell into darkness.
Grievous' fighting style is free of unnecessary movements, and every sword swing is precise to the millimeter level.
His mechanical brain can calculate the movement trajectories of four targets at the same time, and the four lightsabers execute different killing routes as if they have independent consciousness.
When the last orc elite fell, the entire D-127 war zone suddenly fell into an eerie silence.
Grievous sheathed his lightsaber and a puff of steam blew out of his mechanical respirator.
His optical scope swept across the wreckage on the ground - every body was killed with a single blow, the wounds were clean and neat, without any unnecessary movements.
“Pathetic creature.”
He turned and walked towards the next battle zone, his cape spreading out behind him like bat wings.
Behind him, the army of robots was stepping over the corpses of the orcs and continuing to advance.
