Chapter 330 Infection Game [IV] Unexpected Events
"I should have thought it was yours." Mingyue looked at the man blocking the door calmly.
“But you still came to the appointment.” The man in the shadows spoke in a low voice and threw the hay and carrots in his hands on the ground casually.
The rabbits huddled together were still huddled together, their bodies trembling slightly, their round eyes staring at the piles of food on the ground, but none of them dared to move forward.
Mingyue played with the sharp knife in her hand and sighed helplessly, "Lei, do you have any objection to our plan?"
"No." Lei's eyes swept across every corner of the room. "The third floor is full of hidden cameras. If nothing unexpected happens, there are also many eavesdropping devices."
"So that's why you asked me to come here in this way." Mingyue shook the card in her hand, pouted, and commented, "The handwriting is so ugly. Did you write it with your right hand?"
"Well, I'll practice it when I have time." Lei looked behind him and closed the door.
Mingyue turned her head and looked out the window in dissatisfaction. The dark waves hit the glass, making a dull sound that hurt her eardrums. "If someone with ulterior motives sees us, our plan will be ruined."
"Don't worry, there's no one around here." Lei said calmly, "Be careful on the way here."
"Bourbon is on the loose?"
"Yeah." Lei Yi was not surprised that Mingyue could guess this.
Mingyue snorted coldly and turned to look at Lei, her eyes full of displeasure. "Everything is clearly going as planned, so why did you ask me to come here alone? And you used this symbol."
Scotland's instructions echoed in Lei's mind. He took a deep breath and asked, "Did I hurt you before?"
"Ah? For this matter?" Mingyue Banyue looked at Lei Yi, and after a while, he sneered, "Haven't you done something similar before? Besides, this was originally what we had discussed. You and I are just carrying out this plan to the end."
Lei pursed his thin lips, feeling helpless and having a headache.
However, Mingyue continued, "You can hit harder next time. Don't let them see any clues. Make them believe that we have broken up."
"When will you quit the game?" Lei looked at the girl standing in front of the French window. Outside the window was a doomsday-like storm. The huge waves on the sea were like devil's claws reaching out from the abyss, as if they were going to smash the glass and drag the girl into the endless abyss.
Mingyue looked at Lei in confusion, "Why do you ask this?"
The black wolf mask was illuminated by lightning, and his long black hair swayed slightly. Lei walked towards Mingyue step by step, his voice still low: "As a companion, I have reason to know."
"I shouldn't have brought you up here."
Lei walked up to Mingyue and stood in front of her. "Is the monkey the one you want to contact?"
Mingyue glanced at Lei and knew that even if she wanted to slip away, it would be difficult for her to escape from him, and Bourbon was still guarding outside. She thought that this was probably the plan for the three bottles of whiskey, and replied in a muffled voice, "No."
Lei's dark green wolf eyes were still staring at the bright moon, full of inquiry.
"I've already answered you, and now I'm going back." Mingyue tried to bypass Lei and walk towards the door, but Lei seemed to have noticed Mingyue's movements long ago and blocked Mingyue's way first.
"Lily is pronounced as Lily in English. He might be a member of that organization." Lei raised the corners of his lips slightly and stated in a calm tone, "You are investigating him."
Mingyue and Lai looked at each other, their knuckles turning white as they held the card. Sure enough, the strength of this FBI agent should not be underestimated. He made this card to test her, but was that Lily the person she was looking for? Was she the mastermind of the incident at the Wife and Daughter Mountain? Or was it just a coincidence in the name?
"I think that person is dangerous. Maybe he is a woman?" Ley asked tentatively.
Mingyue lowered her eyes, thought for a while and then said, "I think he is more like a man who was transformed into a woman."
After hearing this, Lei's pupils suddenly dilated. It was also an organization that used humans for experiments! That person was also an experiment subject? What was the purpose of these people? Lei's eyes turned cold, "Your eyes... What experiments did those people do on you?"
"No, do you want them to find me before I find their whereabouts?" Mingyue tilted her head thoughtfully and said to herself, "Maybe being found by them is a good thing."
"Don't make any dangerous plans!" Lei warned in a deep voice.
Mingyue chuckled, thinking of Ooka Hongye who had been feeding rabbits here with her before, and said softly: "Compared to her, what kind of dangerous plan is this?"
Lei guessed that Mingyue was talking about the young lady from the Ooka family. He felt a pang in his heart, but he suppressed his uneasiness and asked in a cold voice, "What is the mission assigned to you by the organization? I don't think there is any plan against the Ooka family."
"It is indeed not aimed at the Ooka family." Mingyue turned her head and looked at the chaotic world outside the window.
"Don't do unnecessary things and avoid unnecessary trouble."
Mingyue glared at Lei in displeasure, "You are not my guardian, so I don't need you to teach me how to do things."
Lei realized that his tone seemed a bit heavy, so he took a deep breath, slowed down his tone and said, "I will find a way to investigate. You just follow Scotland obediently and don't run around."
"You?" Mingyue looked Lei up and down. "He probably doesn't want to have much contact with you. He even wants to stay away from you. I am much more attractive to him. Maybe he will come to me on his own initiative."
"So you revealed your name just to attract his attention. You even destroyed the bottle of antidote and spilled it all over him, just to see if he has the Ouroboros tattoo?" Lei narrowed his eyes slightly, a cold light flashing in his eyes. "You're willing to risk your life to find a way to investigate, and you don't even want us to reveal a single word."
Mingyue looked away, pretending not to notice the anger in Lei's eyes, and said with regret: "Yeah, it was almost there, what a pity."
Lei suppressed the anger in his heart and tried to make his voice as gentle as possible, "What about Brown Bear? Is he also a member of the Ouroboros organization?"
"He's not." Mingyue turned and walked towards the door, but was stopped by Lei again. He put his hands on his hips and said unhappily, "The second round will be over soon. We should go back to room three."
Lei said nothing, just stared at Mingyue, and the two of them just stared at each other with wide eyes.
A few brave rabbits in the room ran to the hay and started eating it in big mouthfuls, and a series of commotion broke out among the rest of the rabbits that were huddled together.
The silver lightning was like a sword flashing with cold light, splitting the dark clouds and piercing the dark sea. This space was like a ferocious beast, the strong wind was its sharp claws, trying to tear apart everything it could touch, and the huge waves were its sharp teeth, trying to devour everything in the world.
In room 3, White Tiger Dudao Tongzi walked up to the Elk Housekeeper with a glass of carbonated drink with tiny bubbles coming out of it, and asked in a low voice, "How many of you have been infected?"
"If nothing unexpected happens, those people in black robes must be zombies. As for you, no one wants to contact you." The elk housekeeper glanced at the white tiger woman and said calmly, "You have been exposed. I guess they suspected that you were a primitive zombie from the beginning."
Busujima Kiriko put the glass to her lips and took a sip. She knew the situation clearly, but she still said stubbornly, "You are wrong. I have already contacted others."
"Really?" The parrot girl glanced at the white tiger woman, "I saw the white snake gentleman drink the antidote in front of several people."
"It looks like the infection has failed." The Elk Housekeeper's voice was still very calm.
The fingertips of Busujima Kiriko holding the glass turned slightly white, and she asked in a low voice: "What should we do then?"
"What else can we do? It's time to adopt the second plan." The parrot girl crossed her arms and looked at the host in the distance with a gloomy expression.
Quailhead's eyes slowly swept across everyone's face, and he calmly announced: "The second round is over. There are now a total of zombies on the field..."
